Beginning
DFWKP (DFW Khadayata Parivar) organization was founded in 2012 based on dream and vision of Late Shri Kantibhai Shah. There were only a few members at that time and now we have grown to over 250 members.
Vision
DFWKP vision is to preserve culture and heritage of Vaishnav Sampradaya with positive focus on serving all communities and other organizations. We strive to grow our organization as well as to cultivate next generation of leaders through different philanthropic events. We encourage each Khadayata family of DFW area to participate in DFWKP activities and help us grow.
Mission
DFWKP is Khadayata community organization of Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. The mission of DFWKP is to bring closer all the Khadayata residing in DFW area and to promote our culture, heritage, education & value in present and future youth by bringing harmony in all Khadayata parivar and provide a pillar to the present and future youth.
ACTIVITIES & COMMUNITY SERVICES
DFWKP hosts various activities and programs throughout the year organized by enthusiastic committee members and volunteers, including but not limited to:
- Participation in ANAND BAZAR (Holi celebration) to raise fund for DFW Hindu Temple
- Summer picnic
- Community service: Fund raising & Volunteering
- Sponsorship of scholarship award
- Kotyark Ujani (Diwali dinner)
